I have used James Alexander to manage the rental of my flat for the past 8 years and have just used them to deal with the subsequent sale. As a letting agent I can't fault them. I always receive excellent service with any issues dealt with in a timely fashion with minimal fuss and maximum efficiency. They are reliable, trust worthy and provide an excellent service. The staff all go above and beyond and have a vast network of contacts should any maintenance issues arise. 
Having had such an excellent service from the rental side of James Alexander it was no surprise to receive the same level of service when dealing with the sale. They are a small friendly company and even though I have not met most of the staff face to face, always get a friendly personal response. 
Kelly has been my port of call for rentals and does a fantastic job as a lettings manager. She is amazingly resourceful and always knows where to find the right people for the right job. Kelly is always incredibly patient when I have maybe been a little too demanding! 
I have dealt with Caroline for many years and she oversaw the sale of my flat. Caroline has gone above and beyond in helping tie up loose ends and is an agent I would happily go back to time and again. 
Caroline and Kelly are just two of a great team including Jack and Ken and many other long standing members of staff. Unlike
many larger firms the staff turn over seems to be very low meaning you build a very personal relationship with the staff and takes much of the stress away from being a landlord.
It is safe to say I would recommend James Alexander for sales and lettings without hesitation

My first contact with James Alexander was with Ken Hume. I was impressed with his obvious knowledge and experience and he gave me honest, informed advice about renting or selling the property. The property was then marketed after Jack had taken professional photos. 
Caroline then took over the day to day selling process which, through no fault of her own, became protracted. Throughout the ensuing complications, both Caroline and Ken worked as a team to ensure we achieved the sale at the price I was happy with.
